About the event
6 Ethics CEs approved by LPCA-GA
This workshop aims to explore the neglected realm of spirituality in counseling and help you overcome your reluctance to embrace integration. A Christian integrationist will lead the session, but it will include diverse spiritual integration paths, including Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam. The workshop will review ethical guidelines by ACA, AMHCA, and NASW. Participants will review historical and emerging issues and recent research. We will have small group discussions and sample case scenarios.
We will review two ethical decision-making models, one from the APA and another from the ACA. While spiritual integration with Christian clients will be a focal point, all spiritual perspectives will be valued, fostering respectful dialogue. Join us to engage, learn, and challenge ourselves in this enlightening journey! Sign up now for an enriching experience! Previous participants said, "Not your typical boring and scary ethics workshop." "The best ethics workshop I've attended in years!"
Goals and Objectives

2. Review the ethical guidelines of ACA, AMHCA, and NASW regarding integrating spirituality and psychotherapy.
3. Discuss two ethical decision-making models for spirituality in counseling and psychology.
