About the event

Adverse Childhood Experiences don't stay in childhood — they surface years later as addiction, chronic illness, broken relationships, spiritual blockages, and despair, often in clients who have no idea their history is the source. This workshop equips clinicians to recognize that connection and respond to it with confidence: you'll leave with a clear grasp of the ACE Study's landmark findings, a trauma-informed framework for reframing "symptoms" as survival responses, and — because good intentions aren't protection enough — the clinical judgment to explore a client's trauma history without inadvertently creating a memory that was never there. It's a full day built around one idea: understanding where the wound came from is the first step toward real, lasting healing, for your clients and for the integrity of your practice.
